For @NikonIndonesia photographer, @marthasuherman captures, photographing ordinary people with extraordinary passion and skill thrills her. This endearing image of a sambar deer was taken by @NikonSG photographer @AnimalEncounterWT at a breeding centre in Nanga Bulik, #Indonesia Due to extensive hunting and exploitation of their habitat, the sambar deer has decreased drastically in number. One evening, in the Kanha National Park in #India , @abhilash kar09 was lucky enough to observe a male leopard protecting his kill from another leopard. Abhilash stealthily moved through the heavy bushes and manually focused on his subject. Suddenly, the leopard made eye contact. With bated breath, they both stared at each other, until the leopard eventually lost interest and turned his attention back to his meal. Have you had adventurous encounters with animals?
